Strangely, I was in that house for the first time, just the other day!
Thank you for featuring our poor, dead tree in your blog...we like the name too. So about the tree, decided it should finish out 2010 with a bang instead of a whimper (before it's replaced) so we went all out with ALL the decorations. Trying to remain positive, one could say now we can, for once, see all the ornaments without those leaves getting in the way!!! Sad, but true.Tom & Joanne
Tom and Joanne, thanks for stopping by! i had no idea that the tree had passed, but it is still putting up an impressive display of holiday cheer in the neighborhood. last Christmas, i visited my parents (who live in South Pas) and found out that they had chopped down an old pine tree in our front yard after a pedestrian complained that it was leaning too closely to the sidewalk. i was actually quite sentimental about it, the stump will always be there to remind me of the tree that i used to climb as a child.
